My name is Felix Anthony Raj, and I have spent the last 20 years working in the maritime industry as a Marine Engineer. Throughout my career at sea, I have experienced both the rewarding and challenging aspects of a seafarer's life. These experiences have shaped my understanding of what seafarers truly need when they come ashore — a place that offers comfort, peace, and the feeling of being at home.
Being away from family for extended periods has taught me the importance of spending quality time with loved ones whenever the opportunity arises. This inspired me to create Joe Castle, a homestay designed especially for seafarers and their families.
My vision for Joe Castle was built on the lessons I learned throughout my maritime journey. I took the positive experiences I encountered during my career and worked to improve upon the challenges I observed, creating a stay that prioritizes comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere.
At Joe Castle, I wanted to provide more than just accommodation. I wanted to create a place where fellow seafarers can relax, reconnect with their families, and enjoy a peaceful environment during their time ashore. Our property offers spacious rooms with attached bathrooms and balconies, along with access to a comfortable hall and kitchen, ensuring guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay.
